Miyu and I traveled to Yokota yesterday to pick up some packages at the post office, but when we got there, it was closed. Apparently the post office and the PX were closed the entire day due to a power outage. FML. So I had totally wasted gas, toll fees, and roughly 3 hours of time (round trip). Sigh. I decided to get back on the road toward home, but go to a mall we frequent instead. As soon as we got there around 4pm, we ate at the food court and then afterwards did some shopping. After buying some size 140cm jeans for Miyu, of which she badly needed, we bought me two pieces of flowers which were very inexpensive and I was satisfied with that as my mother’s day gift. I didn’t have a spare vase so I had to put them in with my pachira plant. 😊
