After three and a half years…I’ve decided to come back to my original blog here on reverei.jp. I had seriously considered purchasing an annual plan with WordPress.com, but ultimately decided against it because I knew I wouldn’t be happy with the theme and plugin limitations. Part of what makes blogging so fun for me is having creative control. When I paid for an annual plan with WordPress a few years ago, I felt like I lost a lot of that creative control and though it was fun for a while, I just felt like it was not worth the annual fee (for the Premium plan). Besides, I already pay for my web hosting services and that, along with my domains, adds up. If I didn’t already have these expenses, I think I would’ve upgraded with WordPress. Anyway, technicalities aside, I’m excited to start blogging again!
